MSC (SECURITY MANAGEMENT), CSYP, FSYI

A highly experienced security professional with extensive managerial, physical security, personal security, risk management, client liaison, investigation and training expertise. Adil established Shield Security Services Ltd in the UK in 1986 and in 2006 formed International Electronic Security in Dubai. Both companies provide bespoke security services to include consultancy, design and audit services focusing on technological solutions for a wide range of local and international clients.

He has been in strategic partnership with the International Centre for Security & Safety at the Dubai Police Academy and Security Cadre Training Centre at Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA); providing security consultancy and Training & Awareness programmes in security & safety.

Adil holds a Master’s Degree in Security Management from Leicester University, a Fellowship of the Security Institute (UK) and is a Chartered Security Professional, (CSyP) the highest professional recognition of an individual’s knowledge, skills and ability in the UK security industry.

Ken Withers

Ken Withers has been Director of Services since 2015. He leads a team of consultants undertaking security risk assessments, security system design, and also security system. He spent 33 years serving with the Metropolitan Police in London. He was a nationally accredited Police Security Co-Ordinator responsible for security planning for iconic events in London. He commanded armed support for policing operations against serious and organized crime, and terrorism. This included elements of planning for the London Olympic Games in 2012 as a Strategic Firearms Commander.

Shahid M. Ahmad Maqbool

Shahid M. Ahmad has been a Security Consultant and Projects Director since 2014. With over 20 years’ experience in physical and integrated security system design from concept, design stage to implementation. Shahid is licensed by The Security Industry Regulatory Agency as a Security Consultant and has over 10 years’ experience auditing security systems on behalf of the Dubai police and SIRA authorities.

Jamie Clarke

Jamie Clarke joined IES in May 2018 as the Projects Manager and Security Consultant. His knowledge and expertise were gained while serving as a front-line response police officer with the London Metropolitan Police service. Jamie coordinates Security Risk Assessments and manages IES training courses.
